Everex
I worked at Everex HQ for one year in Fremont and two years at Everex North Graphics Research Lab.
At Everex North we even had Usenet and Real Email via UUCP, which was great because I was seriously
missing Usenet since leaving Chico. Things were sure different before the "September that never ended"
let the unwashed masses onto Usenet. The first archived breadcrumbs of my Usenet Life come from the everexn.com domain,
or the bang path that got you there.
This was a great first job, super smart people, right next to the original O'reilly & Associates Books in Sebastopol California.
Used to even ride my bike to work from Petaluma. Wrote Graphics Drivers for frambuffers, even worked with John Walker a few times
when I was writing Autocad Drivers. Also did drivers for printers. Wrote a boat load of C and Assembly code.
Even worked on some of the first Windows Graphics Drivers.
